Workshops and Classes

The Reiki System of Natural Healing was developed in the early century by Mikao Usui in Japan and was brought to the West over 80 years ago. Increasing acceptance, the Reiki System is being embraced as an important holisitc treatment within the field of energy medicine and is performed in hosptials, hospices, spas and wellness centers. Reiki is a method of amplifying our inner healing energy, which is known as “ki”. Healthy “ki” nourishes our physical body, and helps to balance our mental and emotional energy.

Classes for Reiki I and II are kept small (maximum 6 people). Master Degree Training is most often done on an individual basis and by application. All students receive a Reiki training manual, handouts and certificate of completion. Classes can be taught at your workplace or organization.



Reiki I 
 
Course includes the history of Reiki (Japenese system of stress reduction), how Reiki works, understanding energy systems, basic healing principles and guided meditation techniques, You will learn how to do a Reiki treatment on yourself ,perform basic chair protocol and receive level one ceive attunement. Emphasis of Reiki I is on self-care techniques and incorporating Reiki into your life. This class is given over a two day period to allow students the opportunity for quality practice time.

A One Day Workshop: Total class time is 8 hours.
Pre-requist: none (expect the willingness to transform your life!)


Reiki II

Reiki II builds upon the information learned in Reiki I and attunes you to a higher levels of energy. Students learn basic table protocol and level two symbols to offer emotional/mental healing and send distnace healing. Sudents are taught additional healing techniques taught by Dr. Usui for specific issues. Reiki II prepares the student to use Reiki for oneself and others to assist in relieving specific ailments. Reiki II provides a strong foundation to prepare the student who is interested in professionalizing their field of practice. 

A Two Day Workshop: Total class time is 12 hours.
Pre-requist: Reiki I and 30 days since taking Reiki I


Reiki Master Certification Training

This course helps the student to expand and deepen their Reiki Practice. Master Training Certification provides the Reiki Practitioner to become a Reiki Master Teacher in the tradition of the Dr. Usui system. After course completion you will be certified as a Reiki Master and will be qualified to teach all levels of Reiki. 


Mentorship: Certification requires student to participate in a mentorship program and complete outside practicum hours. Discussion with teacher required prior to class admission.
Pre-requist: Reiki I & Reiki II and 3 months since taking Reiki II
